Like most of the places in Malaysia, Johor Bahru too has quite a metropolitan façade to it. Most people may also find it boring, but in fact, this is not so! Here are a few places to check out and things to do when in the city.
City Square
If shopping is your thing, then find your favourite brands at City Square which is a short drive away from Berjaya Waterfront Hotel. If you are a shopper travelling for the day, then you won’t be out anytime soon from this mall. It also offers movies, massages at the spa and platy of eateries to satisfy your craving of the day!
Jalan Dhoby
So, the night market here opens at 7 pm and this is where you are sure to find something that catches your eye to treasure as a memento of your trip here. Hungry? There more than a few traditional bakeries and eateries here.
Theme Park it!
Up for some fun? The Hello Kitty Town sure sounds interesting, doesn’t it? Furthermore, if you are travelling with kids, they are sure to love the idea of heading over to LEGO Land during their time in Malaysia!
Johor Premier Outlets
Got any cash remaining and don’t have a clue what to do with it? Head over to the cluster of factory outlets where those seemingly expensive brands may actually be affordable right here. The place is just a 40-minute drive from City Square and located close to hotels in Johor Bahru city.
