Namuang is actually made up of two separate waterfalls; one is enormous and drops off 80 metres and the other is much smaller at a height of just 20 metres. The 20 metre fall is more popularly known for its pool which is actually excellent for swimming. The falls have both a majestic and a scenic appearance and are the most visited waterfalls in the island.
For those of you who enjoy the sound of nature and the unique ambience of a jungle, head over to the Hin Lad Waterfall. This site is surrounded by some massive trees which make it quite an interesting place to visit. There is a 2 km path that leads up to the site adorned by rich flora and fauna. This really is a must see for the nature lover. Then there is the Samui Hin waterfall way up in the highlands. This is a very secluded falls that makes a perfect area for picnicking.
