Wat Suthat is one of the top ten old Royal Buddhist temples in Thailand Bangkok. It’s best known for its 21.15-metre tall massive swing found at its entrance.
Bronze Buddha Image
The Giant Swing dates back to 1784 and was made by an ancient King named Rama to protect the 13th-century bronze Image of the Buddha. The swing was recrafted in 2004.
Chapel
Readily identified by the huge red swing which can be seen at its entranceway, this temple also features a handsome chapel with a distinctive roof. You will also find exquisite teak wood panels and splendid murals at this remarkable temple.
Images of the Buddha

Frescoes
