The temple can be reached easily within 10-15 minutes from your Wan Chai hotel, such as the famous Dorsett Wan Chai Hong Kong. There is a sightseeing bus or many taxis on the road to get to Hollywood Road where the temple is located. The mass transit railway is the other affordable option.

The temple was famous for resolving disputes between the colonials and the Chinese. It bears a unique architecture that gives the ancient Chinese atmosphere, based on the colour red which signifies luck. The Lit Shing Kung inside the temple is used to worship the Buddhist and Taoist deities.
