Geographical Facts
This large estuarine lagoon is easy to spot on a map for its size and is located in the Eastern Province in Sri Lanka. It’s also the largest of three lagoons in the area and stretches for a whopping 56 kilometres but is very safe to swim since the depth of the lagoon is only about 4 meters.
