Some of the other exciting adventure filled trekking paths that you can try in Kandy include the Alagalla Mountain, the Hanthana trek and Bahirawakanda Hill which is quite an uphill tedious trek to take if you are up to it. You can also trek along the hundreds of tea estates that cover the hills of Kandy and visit traditional Kandyan villages where you get to stop by and interact with locals and enjoy a meal.
One of the famous treks in Kandy is found at Alagalla Mountain. This is an adrenaline filled experience and not for the faint hearted to try. The trek is only second to Corbert’s Gap trek in Kandy. Alagalla Mountain is a secluded one found in Kandy nestled between Potha Pitiya and Kadugannawa towns and when you reach the top of this mountain, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the region.
