This was a holiday we have been planning (and longing) for many months. After plenty of looking around, recommendations and reading hundreds of reviews online we finally settled to spend our valuable holiday at Adaaran Prestige Water Villas in Maldives.
My travel partner is the definition of the words ‘discerning traveller’ since he is rarely satisfied with the accommodation we choose during our escapade. With the prestigious Adaaran it was a different story. Everything was close to perfection from the time of arrival and all we had to carry was the smile on our faces. At Adaaran we realized that sometimes the best way to relax is not to lie around the sun but to get fantastic Spa treatments.
The Chavana Spa has a lot to offer in terms of packages and we were more than willing to surrender our bodies to the various treatments that were available. Our first treatment at Chavana was the Heaven & Earth, since we were looking for something exotic to relax our mind and body, this sounded like the perfect antidote. Heaven & Earth was nothing but bliss since the experienced ladies at the spa worked on relaxing our stiffened muscles and senses through various techniques that worked like magic on our tired bodies. Once this wonderful treatment was complete both of us had dosed off on the treatment table and my partner decided to unwind at the villa while I stayed on for a foot treatment.
The atmosphere at the Chavana was different since it is not located within closed doors. The Spa is within an open space amongst lot of greenery making it more relaxing to simply be there. The foot treatment that was recommended to me was the citrus footbath and as the name suggests, citrus is used to cleanse and sooth the feet. After a foot treatment to dies for I too decided to unwind at my water villa looking forward to what this magnificent place has in store for us days ahead.
