Gregory Lake
Those based at Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya or similar other properties in Nuwara Eliya drive down to Gregory Lake in the evenings to entertain themselves. Here, one can try out rides on swan-shaped paddleboats or even hire a jet ski for 20 minutes.
Victoria Park
While enjoying a holiday at one of the villas in Nuwara Eliya, it is recommended that you take a stroll around Victoria Park, which was created back in 1897, in honour of Queen Victora’s 60th jubilee. It is home to an abundance of flowers and plants making it the perfect place to enjoy nature.
Nuwara Eliya Post Office
Housed in an antique Tudor Manor, the iconic read-brick Post Office of Nuwara Eliya was built during the 1890s. Being one of Sri Lanka’s oldest post offices, it was even featured on a stamp back in the day.
Adma Agro Farm
No trip to Nuwara Eliya would be complete if you don’t visit Adma Agro Farm. Here, you can eat strawberries straight off the plants or at the café with waffles or pancakes. A yummy treat indeed!
