While Mui Ne might be known for its beach and sand dunes, it also offers access to a picturesque site known as the Fairy Stream, ideal for spending time amidst nature.
Planning a Visit
The Fairy Stream is a short drive from Mui Ne and can be accessed via Huynh Thuc Khang Street in Phan Thiet. To get to the site you can plan an excursion from properties like Anantara Mui Ne Resort, take a bus (number 1 or 9) or rent a motorbike and travel there yourself. Entry is free as well!
Unique Landscapes
The landscape here is truly distinctive; on one side of the stream, you will find red and white sand dunes and fascinating rock formations and on the other, lush greenery with trees and wildflowers. When visiting from your Mui Ne resort, remember to bring your camera or phone to capture some amazing shots.
Wading in the Water
Amongst the most popular things to do at the Fairy Stream is to wade barefoot through it; the water rises only up to one’s ankles or the knees at its deepest point. It will take you about one hour to reach the end where there’s a small waterfall too. You can also climb up the dunes and take in stunning views.
A Combined Visit
Before or after your visit, you can also head to the nearby Red Sand Dunes, one of the most popular attractions in Mui Ne. The dunes with their reddish and brown hues make for a fantastic sight, especially at sunset. Those looking for more activity can try some sand-sledding here too!
