A cosmopolitan Canadian city home to a rich heritage and culture, Toronto provides much to see and experience. Here are some of the top activities to try when on a holiday here.
Head-up Top the CN Tower
What’s more impressive than the sight of the famed 553.33-metre CN Tower? The stunning views from up top of course! A must-visit be you staying at hostels or 5 star hotels in Toronto, the tower’s SkyPod offers the highest vantage point and there’s even an option for a hands-free walk around its outer ledge.
Explore the Distillery District
Once where the world’s largest distillery was found, this pedestrian neighbourhood is a wonderful place to explore. Located within a 20-minute drive from Pan Pacific Toronto, the Distillery District features many restaurants, pubs, shops and art galleries set amidst cobblestone walkways and Victorian industrial buildings.
Have a Picnic at High Park
One of the best things to do in Toronto is to spend time at its parks (it has over 1,500!) including the largest one in the city, High Park. It’s an ideal place for a relaxing picnic and is home to a playground for kids, a mini-zoo and hiking trails as well.
Shop at the St Lawrence Market
St Lawrence Market can be found in the Old Town district and is amongst the main attractions in Toronto for foodies. This historic market features over 120 food stalls offering all kinds of food (both local and international) as well as fresh produce, dairy products, meat, baked goods and non-food items too.
