Dining is always an exquisite affair, especially when done with a special someone. But, have you ever tried having a meal while suspended in air?
About
People keep coming up with new things every day, and Sky Dining is one such thing. This idea was an instant hit, as the combination of the nerves plus tasty food while you are seated up in the air with your feet hanging down was seen as a novel experience.
How to Sky Dine
Not owned by a specific hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the 2Spicy Entertainment are the people that brought Sky Dining to Malaysia. The cost of dinner here is RM599, and the bookings are sold out at the speed of lightning, therefore, while you book your room at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, for instance, book your seat for Sky Dining too.
The experience
A huge dinner table plus cooking space is suspended about 50 metres high with a cable and crane that is in a parking lot. With impressive technology and utmost safety, the whole experience is made more fun. Once the harness and seatbelt have been secured to the ground, the crane then hoists the table off ground.
Things to remember
If you have a fear of heights, it’s best not to go for this, as a full course meal with a nervous stomach is never a good idea.
