The National Maritime Museum or the NMM in England is the most primary maritime museum in the United Kingdom and probably might be the largest of its kind for the whole world. This museum houses some valuable historical artifacts belonging to the maritime history of England which dates back to many centuries. The museum was opened by Kin George the VI on the 27th April 1937. It also houses the world’s largest maritime library which consists of over 100 000 volumes including books and references dating back to the 15th century. The Queens House in Greenwich is the other royal museum out of the four which was the earlier royal residence. This colossal structure was built in 1616 and was a beautiful design by Inigo Jones. Today it a historical monument that has grabbed the attention of many tourists for its importance related to the royal family. Once you step in, you would notice a very unique style of classical architecture and decoration boasting within the building.
