Evora, the ancient city, began to thrive in the Roman era. The city has a mix of various cultures and religions and therefore was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a typical medieval city with cobblestone paths, cathedrals and fountains.

Upon first sight, the appearance of this cathedral may strike you with wonder as it is as big as a fortress! Although the walls of the massive edifice might seem weathered, this only adds an unusual ancient charm to it. It is a place of worships that has stood against time from the year 1204.
Museu de Evora
This is the Museum of Evora, it is designed to be kid-friendly and modern. Instead of being cramped up with several exhibits, the place is now spacious and full of light allowing you to explore better! The relics of the past are housed in what used to be the residence of Bishops and Nobleman in the country.
Roman Temple
These age-old remains of 14 columns are said to be of a temple dedicated to the Roman goddess Diana. It was constructed in the 2nd or 3rd century AD. Certainly a tourist puller!
