Affectionately known as the “Martial Art land” Quy Nhon sits in the heart of Binh Dinh, Vietnam. The Binh Dinh province is popular among travellers because of its breathtaking views and alluring beaches. Here are some tips to make your journey to Quy Nhon even better.
Stick to the beaches
The famous Hoang Hau beach is the best place to be if you’re someone who loves swimming. The weather can get sweltering in the summer so the best way to cool down is to splash around in the cool blue sea. Hoang Hau is only around 15mins away from gorgeous Quy Nhon resorts in Vietnam the likes of Avani Quy Nhon Resort so you can enjoy the waves every day while you’re there.
Best times to visit
There are almost zero rainy days and the temperatures range in the balmy high 200s between the months of January and March. Arguably, this is the best time to plan your amazing vacation to Quy Nhon. However, if you’re okay with the heat you can plan a vacation later in the year too. The summer months are great if you can handle the hot weather as there will be fewer visitors.
How to get here
You can get here by train, bus or even by air. The closest airport to Quy Nhon is the Phu Cat Airport, located 30km northwest. There is even a shuttle bus from the city to the airport by Vietnam Airlines. If you prefer to limit air travel, you can catch minibuses or larger busses to many destinations such as Kon Tum and Pleiku from Quy Nhon. Trains are also a good method to travel here as they’re cheap. The only advice is that you must book your train tickets in advance.
