The cultural district in the UAE, Abu Dhabi is where this magnificent structure has been erected. The project was first opened in November 2017 by the French President Emmanuel Macron. The attraction is a short distance away from 5-star hotels in Abu Dhabi the likes of Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara.
Architecture
The edifice has been expertly crafted to look like a floating dome. The roof of this dome is sure to leave you awestruck as it is designed with loops where the pattern in which the rays of sun fall into the room mimic that of the pattern of the rays when it reaches through the date palms.
The inspiration
The inspiration that brought about the construction of the Louvre was the art exhibition that came to Abu Dhabi some time ago called “Talking Art: Louvre Abu Dhabi”.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi began with displays of photography. Later on, it was decided to move further into the art industry and acquire paintings that are said to be very old.
