This region of the beach plays hosts wo many little crabs who call the rocks home; the other end of the beach, as well as the areas in between give way to uninterrupted, smooth sand that make for a pretty scenic sight. A row of gently undulating palms that dance to the sea breeze line the beach and protect it from the prying eyes of those at nearby accommodation. This gives Four Mile Beach a great sense of privacy, and affords the long beach stretch an illusion of being quite untouched by civilisations necessary evils. If you plan on going for a swim here, make sure to keep an eye out for a stinger net that may have been put out. This net is usually in place during stinger season when these creatures are known to frequent the waters, and act as a safeguard for swimmers.
