For inspiring panoramas of Hong Kong, you can’t beat those from the sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck and here’s more on what to expect.
Where is It?
This observation deck is at the International Commerce Centre (ICC) in West Kowloon; it’s within a 20-minute drive from properties like Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong that come under the Anti-Epidemic Hygiene Measures Certification Scheme. You can also reach this site via Kowloon Station (MTR Tung Chung Line or Airport Express) or Hong Kong West Kowloon Station (high-speed rail).
Soaring to the Sky
Easy to reach from a Wan Chai-based Hong Kong boutique hotel, the observation deck enjoys a premier vantage point 393 metres above the ground; interestingly, it’s in the ICC building, that at a height of 490 metres is Hong Kong’s tallest building. To reach the deck, you take high-speed elevators that cover the 100-floor distance in 60 seconds!
Awe-inspiring Vistas
sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck provides stunning 360-degree panoramas of Victoria Harbour and the New Territories; on a clear day, you may even glimpse China! Since it’s open from 10:00am to 8:30pm, you can enjoy breathtaking night views too. There’s also a daily light show on the deck windows called “Love is in the Sky” that adds to the site’s allure.
Other Highlights
There are other attractions here too like the multimedia story wall, “sky100’s Tales of Hong Kong”, offering insights into local culture. There are also augmented reality (linked with the sky100 mobile app) and virtual reality experiences for some immersive fun, while you can look forward to some delectable delights at the onsite café.
