Building the Wheel
The Wheel Brisbane stands 60m at its highest point and was opened to the public in August, 2008, as part of the 150th Anniversary celebrations of the State of Queensland. The wheel itself is a Bussink R60 transportable wheel, and has a total of 42 “gondolas” attached to it to carry passengers.
