Moofushi is popular for spotting whale sharks, colourful fish and manta rays. You may even be able to spot white tip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, snappers, eagle rays and turtles! One of the most exciting expeditions is the Whale Shark excursion which is popular during the northeast monsoon of January and May, where weekly trips are organized for groups who wish to see the most beautiful creature that roams the warm tropical waters of the Indian Ocean.
