Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Project
Leatherback, Olive Ridley, Hawks Bill, and Green Turtles visit the shores of this hatchery. The workers rescue the eggs, hatch them, and release the baby turtles into the sea.
Madu River tour
Take a river tour along the cool shades of the mangrove overgrowths on the Madu River. Like the tiny Five Cent Island, you can spot over 60 land crops on the river. The river is also home to some famous inhabitants, including freshwater crocodiles!
