The Grand Palace

Wat Po
Not far from The Grand Palace is the temple of Wat Po which is famed for its colossal statue of the Reclining Buddha. This is also a training centre for traditional Thai massaging techniques.
Jim Thompson’s House
Jim Thompson was said to be an American spy who found the local culture so intriguing that he built his home on the banks of a canal with a combination of colonial and Thai architectural styles. This house is now a museum located an easy 10-minute drive away from Pathumwan Princess Hotel.
Late nights in Bangkok
