For some sun, sand and surf head over to the Corniche or the luxurious Saadiyat Island. The Corniche offers a stunning view of the Abu Dhabi city skyline bordering the sea and Saadiyat Island also houses the cultural district giving you an insight into the lives of the locals. Right from the Corniche step over to the Heritage Village and try your hand at traditional pottery making, metal work, weaving and much more. It is a good place to experience the famed Bedouin hospitality and take a small remnant of traditional Abu Dhabi life back home.
For some fun shopping head over to the Iranian Market to haggle and bargain over little silver trinkets and other goods such as handmade rugs, baskets, furniture and shisha pipes. For higher end shopping Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi’s most popular mall will be a better choice since it houses 270 stores ranging from high street to high-end fashion, a cinema and food court. Climb up to the Marina Mall Sky Tower for a stunning view of the city, the Corniche and the Arabian Gulf. No tour is complete in Abu Dhabi without spending a day at the entertainment central, Yas Island with Ferrari World Abu Dhabi; the world’s largest indoor theme park, Yas Waterworld, Yas Viceroy, golf courses, polo clubs, restaurants and the traditional Souk and Emporium.
