The Origins
The origins of the world-famous Louvre Museum date back 800 years. The Creation
Brought to life as a result of a partnership entered between the UAE and France, Louvre Abu Dhabi is the first universal museum in Dubai which depicts the rich multicultural heritage of the region. Whilst the construction of the museum began as early as 2007, foundations were laid in 2010 followed by the flooding of the sites in 2016. Interestingly, during the construction process, one could witness at least 4000 men working on different levels of the structure.
