Saudi Arabia’s only aquarium for the public, the Fakieh Aquarium is a wonderful place to take the family and offers a chance to view marine species from around the world.

The Fakieh Aquarium can be found along the Jeddah Corniche bordering the Red Sea. Within a 14 minute drive from Citadines Al Salamah Jeddah, the aquarium is open at the following times:
• Sunday to Thursday: 10 am to 11 pm
• Friday to Saturday: 1:30 pm to 11 pm
• Vacation and holidays: 1 pm to 1 am / Fridays: 1:30 pm to 1 am

What to Expect
At the aquarium, one can see all manner of marine species from the Red Sea as well as those from other oceans around the planet. Within easy reach of well-placed Jeddah apartments and hotels, this attraction is home to over 200 species ranging from Napoleon wrasses and sea horses to stingrays and sharks.
Delightful Dolphins
One of the highlights here is the daily dolphin and sea lion show (Note: according to the official site, during Ramadan, these shows will not take place) which offers a fun audience experience. There’s even a chance to swim with dolphins which is a truly unforgettable experience!
A Tunnel of Wonder
