The Ocean Park Hong Kong is a combination of an amusement and marine animal park that provides plenty of fun for visitors of all ages.
About
The park spans well over two hundred hectares. In 2014, the Ocean Park Hong Kong was recognised as the thirteenth most visited theme park in the region. The park is divided into two main sections by a big mountain in the middle.
Going In
Ocean Park Hong Kong, being as massive as it is, is home to an extensive number of rides and attractions. The park features several roller coasters, the largest aquarium dome in the world, and also has many different animals on display for guests to observe.
Animals
Twelve thousand and more species of both marine and land-based wildlife call this park home. Here you will come across giant pandas, Chinese sturgeons, playful and smart bottlenose dolphins, penguins, alligators and turtles, as well as well over seventy bird species.
Location
You can opt to get there by taxi or by public transport such as the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) or the bus. Those residing at a Hong Kong hotel such as the Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong will be able to get to this park by car in less than 20 minutes.
