How To get there
Think getting to the island is challenging? There is nothing to be worried about, you can reach the island through the two passenger boats operating daily between Brisbane and Moreton Island. Once you hop on board the ferry from a pickup location convenient to you, you can buckle up and enjoy the ride. For extra fun, you can walk across the deck to catch a glimpse of frisking dolphins. Having some pocket money in your wallet is also going to come in handy if you want to munch on some snacks along the way.
Camping experience
Moreton island hosts 5 campgrounds including The Wrecks, Ben-Ewa, and Comboyuro Point, and 5 camp zones the likes of North-west camping, northeast camping, and South-west camping. Thinking of a camping excursion while on the island? Make sure you get the required permits in advance. All permits must be obtained before you arrive at the island and what’s more?
