Koh Samui has plenty to offer for all types of tourists. It doesn’t matter whether you’re going there to work remotely, explore, relax, or simply just pass through, Koh Samui will not disappoint.
Chaweng Beach
Chaweng beach is not too far from any Samui resort you can think of and is perfect for lovers of the beach. Supposedly the most developed beach, the white sand and shockingly blue water will tempt you as soon as you set eyes on this beach. The beach area is full to the brim with snack bars, souvenir shops and restaurants, so it’s ideal for a day out.
Big Buddha Temple
You need to take some time to visit this 12-metre-tall golden Buddha statue, which is located on a small island attached to Koh Samui by a bridge. The best time to visit would be in the morning hours before it gets crowded. Before you head out of your holiday resort; for instance, Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort, remember to wear a modest outfit.
Secret Buddha Garden
Located on a hill, this spot is also known as the Tarnim Magic Garden. Almost like a scene from a movie, this garden is worth the drive. Apart from the many Buddha statues, the garden is also full of sculptures of deities, animals, and humans.
Na Mueang Waterfall
The most popular waterfalls in Koh Samui are Na Mueang Waterfall 1 and 2, which are must-visits. They look right out of a picture postcard and make for great photo backdrops!
