Mai Khao Beach

Patong Beach

Though this may not be the place to go to if you are in search of quiet relaxation, it does offer plenty of things to do, water sports and dining options as well. Of course, when the sun has set, Bangla Road near the beach transforms into a nightlife playground where you can dance your cares away!
Freedom Beach
For more seclusion, you can plan a trip to Freedom Beach which can be reached via a longtail boat ride (around 10 minutes) which adds to the adventure of visiting this shoreline. You can expect to find pristine sands and laidback island vibes, ideal for soaking up the sun or swimming amidst the serenades of the sea. Additionally, you can head to the beach’s northern area and make the ascent up cement stairs to take in stunning views.
Layan Beach
Tucked away along the west coast is the picturesque Layan Beach which features a more tranquil atmosphere with a lovely shore bored by tall pine trees; it’s the perfect spot to sit in the shade and watch the world go slowly by as well as catch spellbinding sunsets. The ocean waters here are relatively calm since the shoreline is sheltered by a small island called Koh Kala, while kayaks can be rented out too for some enthralling exploration.
