A key transport hub, the Xi’an North Railway Station offers convenient city access and here’s more on what you need to know.
High-speed Trains
Located in the Weiyang District, this is the main bullet railway station in the city and is utilised for high-speed trains. It’s linked to Metro Line 2 which offers convenient connections to the city centre home to attractions like the Ancient City Wall and Bell Tower as well as Grand Park Xian and similar accommodation options.
Station Layout
Featuring over 30 platforms, the station has been constructed between the north and south squares with the latter providing the primary access point; keep in mind that the “1F” section is where you will find the ticket offices. Apart from exploring Xi’an, hotels can be easily accessed from this modern railway station too.
Transport Options
There are several options for getting to or from the Xi’an North Railway Station. The most convenient way would be to use the Bei Ke Zhan (Line 2) Subway Station that can be found here to access the downtown area. Alternatively, there are stops for public buses on various routes as well as taxi stands nearby.
