Planning Your Visit
This well-known site is within easy reach of the downtown area and is only around a six-minute taxi ride from Pan Pacific Toronto. It lies on Lawrence Avenue within the Edwards Gardens Park and is open from dawn to dusk. There is no entry fee and though guided tours are available, you can take self-guided tours too.

Located close to key 5-star hotels in Toronto, the garden covers almost four acres and is a great place to not only witness diverse flora but learn about horticulture as well. There are many themed gardens to explore each with something different to offer be it habitats, plants or designs for a truly rewarding experience.

The best way to enjoy the Toronto Botanical Garden is to wander around each themed garden. Amongst the highlights are the Woodland Walk and Bird Habitat, Kitchen & Herb Garden, the different habitats of Nature’s Garden, the Beryl Ivey Knot Garden with fascinatingly shaped plants and Spiral Mound offering inspiring 360-degree vistas.
Events at the Site
Amongst the most picturesque attractions in Toronto, this garden also provides an enchanting backdrop for private outdoor events and weddings. Furthermore, it also plays host to the Edwards Summer Music Series with free music performances in the summer as well as an organic farmers’ market every Thursday (2:00pm – 7:00pm).
