Located in Bedugul, Bali, this is one of the most stunning temples in Bali. It has been set up on a very calm lake that is absolutely divine in itself. Here’s what you’ll need to know if you plan on visiting the temple.
What to expect
If you’ve seen a picture of this temple, the mist was not edited, and neither were the still waters! It really is as extraordinary as it looks in captures. The rich Balinese architecture is prominent right from the entrance of the temple.
Entrance
You will have to pay an entrance fee and obtain tickets in order to enter. 50,000 IDR will be charged for adults while it’s just 25,000 IDR for kids. The ticket counter is right at the entrance and it is better to have small money with you to pay for the tickets. You can also look for other things to do in Canggu after you are done.
Opening hours
The temple is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every day for tourists and it is open 24 hours for prayer and worship purposes. If you are travelling from properties like Nirjhara, it will take you about an hour to reach by car.
Dress Code
As is for any temple or religious place, it is important that you are dressed conservatively to enter. Men should void wearing shorts while ladies should see that their shoulders and knees are covered.
