Overview
Built during the Qing Dynasty by Zhang Jingxiu from 1850 to 1858, Keyuan is one of the four most prominent gardens of Guangdong region of China. The garden today is a popular tourist attraction for which travellers from around the country and the globe visit here to see the splendrous features and attributes of the garden up-close and personal.
Things to see
The garden features are a variety of flowering plants and trees that seamlessly blend in and accentuate the ambience of the attraction. There are also water bodies such as ponds and small streams and even the site is located beside an expansive lake – there are intricately designed bridges as well! There are a number of traditional Chinese buildings and meticulously made sculptures and artworks as well.
Getting there
Being a popular attraction located in Guancheng District, in the western region of Dongguan city, Getting to the shrine is pretty easy. All you have to do is get into a taxi from any part of the city and tell the driver where you need to go.
