Called the “City of Angels”, Bangkok offers something new to experience on every visit. If you have three days in the Thai capital, here is one way to plan your trip.
Settling In
Before beginning your adventures, find a good place to be based at, preferably a centrally located city hotel. Bangkok has several properties to choose from and you should find one that is not only within easy reach of local attractions, but transport services too be it the Skytrain (BTS), MRT or express boats.
Day One: Shopping
Shopaholics will have a blast at the many malls in Bangkok; one of the largest, CentralWorld which is within easy reach of Avani Atrium Bangkok Hotel is a must-visit as are Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and MBK. For a more cultural experience look to explore markets like the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
Day Two: Sightseeing
Set aside a day for sightseeing at the key attractions in Bangkok. This includes historical sites such as the Grand Palace with its Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Temple of Dawn. Also visit Chinatown, the Bangkok National Museum and the Thailand Cultural Centre which hosts traditional performances.
Day Three: Pick & Choose
Depending on your interests, enjoy some of the other highlights; plan a trip to the Taling Chan Floating Market, go on a street food tour, embark on a Chao Phraya River cruise or unwind at a local park. If you haven’t done so already, make sure to experience nightlife in Bangkok at locales such as Sukhumvit and Khaosan Road!
