Tampaksiring

The way to Pakerisan River
Your journey to the site begins down a small pathway paved with stone. Walk down and you will see picturesque paddy fields along the way which eventually leads to the valley Sacred river called Pakerisan. Not far off, you’ll end up at the gates of the temple.
The Candi
Beyond the stone gate entrance, you will find about 15 ancient candi which are some of the most well-preserved pieces of history in Bali. However, archaeologists believe that there are probably more of these intricately crafted candi which were unable to survive landslides and such calamities.
