Arabian Orynx
A symbol of Qatar, this animal is a small antelope with straight horns and a triangular spot on top of its nose. The Falcon
The falcon is quite popular in Qatar and is a popular pet which has to be cared for with extensive training. You’ll find six different types of Falcons in Qatar; the Amur, Sooty, Lanner, Saker, Peregrine and the Barbary Falcons. The Falcon is associated with being noble and wealthy and is also used as a hunting tool due to its sharp eyesight.
Pharaoh Eagle Owl
These owls were found nesting on the pyramids in Egypt, hence the name. Its winters are spent in Qatar, on the ground, in cliffs and rocks.
