For a breath-taking view
When travelling or on holiday, travellers move out in search of the best view of the destination they’ve arrived at. Man Mo Temple
This is an age-old Taoist temple that has been dedicated to the gods of literature (Man) and war (Mo). Inside this temple built in 1847, in the period of the Qing Dynasty, are 2 19thcentury sedan chairs. It is believed that these chairs were used to carry the gods during festivals.
Hong Kong Museum of History
Located close to Hong Kong luxury hotels, this is one of the best places to dive into some history. Along with antique displays, small video clips that help you understand the story of how Hong Kong came to be. History displayed here comes from the prehistoric times which makes it more interesting.
Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple
This is a collection of halls, shrines and pavilions. The outer façade of the temple is decorated with intricate painted designs with gold and blue. Red Chinese lanterns can be seen dangling from the roofs and the crowds here are massive too!
