Some of the resident companies of CCP include UST Symphony Orchestra, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Tanghalang Pilipino, Philippine Ballet Theatre, Ballet Philippines and Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group. These companies bring a customary season of productions, outreach performances and workshops which let you truly appreciate the arts and entertainment.
The department of arts education of CCP seeks to encourage the progress of new audiences and arts managers as well as aspiring artists through online educational source, workshops and master classes. The progress of satellite venues in selected cities across the country is handled by the Outreach and Exchange Department. Taking the leading role in the venue management and the stagecraft’s professionalization in the nation is the Production and Exhibition Department which is known for advancing the practice in design and technical theatre. The designing of interactive portals and digitizing of cultural content of the centre is taken care of by the Cultural Content Department. CCP is preparing to be redeveloped as a leading eco-tourism and cultural destination in Asia Pacific.
Different international organizations including the Asian Theatre Alliance (ATA), the International Theatre Institute, the World Dance Alliance (WDA) and the Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centre (AAPAC) among others share the ownership of CCP. Owing to this extensive international network, Filipino artists enjoy the opportunity to effectively communicate with their global counterparts whilst local audiences get to truly experience the culture and arts from all across the globe.
