Wat Phra That Doi Pu Khao
The famous temple premises providing home to the Golden Buddha which is 17 metres tall is undoubtedly one of the best places to visit in the area. This statue is made of solid gold and dates all the way back to the 13th century. The temple is closely located to Ruak River, a tributary of the famous Mekong River. Kuang Si Waterfalls
Located in the serene neighbourhoods of Luang Prabang in Laos, these falls are one of the most eye-catching attractions you will ever come across. The turquoise blue water cascading down the rocks and gathering in the tranquil pools can be mesmerising to watch. There is a famous footbridge at the top of the falls, and a bear sanctuary close by.
Bagan, Myanmar
Bagan used to be the capital of the Myanmar kingdom in the early days and is home to more than 2000 pagodas and temples.
